How Event Gear Started
The Event Gear company does hiring out of sound equipment and audio visual equipment. We do stage lighting, décor and draping and furniture hire.
The Event Gear journey started all the way back in February 2001 when I was fresh out of college, graduating with a two year diploma in Advance Sound Engineering, and had just been offered my first real job with then Mersey Sound.
Starting at the bottom as a “know it all” junior technician I worked myself up over the years to being second in charge. Luckily along the way I had some great mentorship and irreplaceable industry experience. Thirteen years later I made the owner an offer on the company and he accepted.
That was the 1st of January 2015 and it feels like the Event Gear journey is going from strength to strength in the sound, audio-visual and lighting industry.
The Event Gear Company is a small but passionate company with BIG ambitions that focuses on building long term relationships with all our clients, big or small and everyone in-between.
