Event Gear has partnered with our own in-house DJ to provide you with a holistic event solution of the highest quality.
Our resident DJ, DJ Nigel (Francois Booyse) started his DJ career
in 1998 at RAU Radio and has been a successful commercial and club DJ since. His love for entertaining party-goers through various genres and ages of music enables him to pack a dance floor.
Although he specialises in corporate functions he is adept at any other occasion including 21 – 50th birthday parties, weddings, nightclubs, sports events and music festivals.
To keep current DJ Nigel has played at numerous nightclubs with crowds between 800 to 2000 people. The most notable venues being Billy the Bums, where he has been the resident DJ for the past 15 years.
Notable events played at include Nando’s, Aston Martin and Renault F1 year-end, 10 000 springbok fans at Ellis Parks beer garden for the last few years tests, and a request to perform for the VP of Googles R26million wedding at Thorny Bush for 40 people.
Playing music is all about having the experience to know what to play when, and having the passion, enthusiasm and love of all genres to understand your audience’s needs.
With 15 years of DJ experience, there is not an event he hasn’t played at. His reliability, versatility and professionalism for each event, makes him an absolute must for your functions!
